As dusk settled down on the Springs so bright,
The Festival of Lights filled the cold winter night.
With twinkling floats and bands all aglow,
The magic of Christmas began to flow.
But this year, a twist made the crowd cheer,
EcoSweeping’s sweeper brought holiday cheer!
Transformed into Santa’s “Road Prep Machine,”
It swept through the streets, a festive scene.
With lights all a-shimmer and spirits so high,
It cleared the path where Santa would fly.
Families gathered, their hearts filled with glee,
As the parade wound along Tejon Street with glee.
The 41st year of this grand celebration,
Brought joy and magic to every generation.
As EcoSweeping worked with a rhythmic sweep,
They made way for Santa, as all watched in heaps.
With laughter and music, the night came alive,
In the glow of the lights, the whole town would thrive.
So here’s to the spirit of giving and cheer,
Merry Christmas to all, and a Happy New Year!
The clip below — courtesy of KKTV 11 — captures EcoSweeping in action, sweeping the streets and “making way for Santa’s sleigh.” Though just two to three minutes long, it captures the spirit of community, giving, and a clean start to the holiday evening.
